As the visionary Founder and CEO of Kusewera, my role centers around leading development initiatives, exploring partnership opportunities, and spearheading fundraising efforts. Collaborating with organizations that align with our three pillars—health, education, and play—helps strengthen the Community Center in Malawi, Africa. My commitment to creating a global impact is also reflected in my role as an Honorary Consul to Malawi, where I focus on fostering international relationships and cultural exchange.
With over three decades in Business Affairs, Talent Management, and PR, including 21 years as Director of a renowned agency, I’ve had the privilege of guiding and developing the careers of numerous talent. My strategic insights and dedication have earned me respect within the industry, known for nurturing relationships and driving success.
This diverse background fuels my passion and allows me to approach each new project with a fresh perspective, managing multiple initiatives efficiently.

Kusewera, Founder/CEO
Kusewera aims to empower and educate children through active and creative play programs. Our Community Center sits on 13 acres in Malawi, Africa with a 10 village catchment area. We have free preschool & kindergarten classes with after-school programs for primary and secondary school children. Our sports field and court, library, dance studio, classrooms and more, allow the programs to flourish. Karen@Kusewera.org
